Season 5, Episode 2

Ironhand! One of my favorite episodes.

Starting off with previously-used stock footage of the San Francisco waterfront.

Real magazines! Not the usual prop variety. Can't make out most of them, but can clearly see a Business Week in there.

Another prop newspaper! Lots of examples of headlines from this newspaper in other TV shows and movies, over a period of nearly 70 years.

 In a Lonely Place (1950)

 Perry Mason (1958)

Addams Family (1964)

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1965)

Batman (1966)

The Invaders (1967)

It Takes a Thief (1968)

 Mod Squad (1969)

The Six Million Dollar Man (1976)

 Incredible Hulk (1977)

 Fantasy Island (1982)

Tron (1982)

 Johnny Dangerously (1984)

 Naked Gun (1988)

Back to the Future Part II (1989)

 Dick Tracy (1990)

 Murder She Wrote (1991)

 Seberg (2019)

Back to the action with an airport runway shot.

This is followed by a nice exterior shot of Dulles Airport. We've seen some farther-away shots before, but here's a closeup with Max's Opel.

I don't know if the interior shot is also Dulles or somewhere else.

Some new travel posters, India and Japan.

The dance scene was choreographed by Don Adams's wife, Dorothy Bracken Adams, a former June Taylor Dancer. Though she doesn't get credited for appearing in the episode, this woman certainly looks like her.

Another new travel poster, France.

In the last scene Max wheels the carriage around a corner, past a Hawaii poster . . .

. . . and the same poster is seen in the hall he enters!

It's a Pan Am poster. Interestingly the ones on screen look like they never had the Pan Am wording on the bottom.
